Since it's been almost a month since I last posted on my blog, I figured you deserved an explanation. A glance at the cover photo for this blog post might give the false impression that I've been on a trip, the Rocky Mountains perhaps, or maybe the Swedish Alps...
My brother suggested that I answer that I have been in the region of perezoso (lazy, and yes, we are taking Spanish), but that is not true...not at all.
The fact is, I have been working on a new book, and I am afraid that it has quite taken up my time. This book has taken me to Alp and Rocky-like mountains...all while sitting on my couch or at my desk. (Writing is awesome like that.) Several months ago, I started writing a different book, Rangers N' Rays II, but my heart wasn't really in that one, and I struggled and struggled to get words out. Some of you may remember that I complained about NaNoWriMo. Well, that was the book that I was trying to write, and it just wasn't happening.
Finally, I decided that it was time for me to begin writing the sequel to my fantasy novel that I finished in the fall of '24. Three weeks ago, I began planning the book. On the 3rd of February, I started writing it, and I have to admit that I totally got washed away in the world that I had created. Since then, I have written over 21 thousand words in the novel, and with each daily (or bi-daily) writing session, the themes and heart that belong to this world grow even more strong...
And that is the confession. I've gotten a couple lovely emails, asking where I've been, and I decided it was time for an explanation and an apology. I hope to be able to start writing my blog again soon, but for the present moment, I'll probably still be spending a lot of time on the novel. In the meantime, I'd love to know what you would like to continue hearing about on my blog. I've have been a bit short on ideas lately and seeing what you enjoy reading would interest me a good deal.

By the way, in case you were wondering, I've finally gotten names for my fantasy books. For a while, I just called them Alindell 1, Alindell 2 etc.
